Notes:
Tonka finished his AKC Championship owner/handled. He was OFA'd hips fair and elbows normal. Tonka had his cardiac checked and has 2 heart murmers, that will Thankfully not effect his quality of life. Due to this, he was neutered and is now retired. Tonka has obtained his TT from the American Temperament Test society.

Tonka went thru a horrible episode of vestibular disease. To say we were devasted to see him as he was is not enough. Tonka could not stand, he had constant darting movement of the eyes, severe facial paralysis,and vomiting most likely from the eye darting. It came on so suddenly we thought he had a stroke, where the symptoms are very similiar. I reached out to several Amstaff owners who have been in the breed for years and got advice and helpful information. Tonka's symptoms slowly subsided and now he is pretty much back to normal. Tonka has slight paralysis on the left side of his face, but he can still enjoy all his normal activities again.
